one on one
I’ve had a couple of wonderful opportunities to do my one-to-one piece, …and other safe places, recently. The first was in a tent as part of the Campsite at Pulse Fringe in Ipswich. The Campsite is a fantastic project supporting intimate performance. It will pop up every now and then as a grouping of campervans and tents with shows for audiences of 1-5 or so. I did a show for one audience member at a time in a small tent tucked in a corner. It was terrific fun and I had some lovely audience members and saw work from BRILLIANT artists.
Total Theatre said some lovely words about my piece in their write up of The Campsite, here.
I reprised the piece a week ago as part of The Basement‘s Supper Club, only this time it took place in a car in front of the venue. Again, some very lovely and generous audience members.
I’m loving this piece more and more each time I get to do it.
